They’ve Arrived!

Posted June 26th, 2012 in Uncategorized by admin

We’ll keep things simple. The 10 boards have arrived, 5 of which will be going to developers. The other 5 will be made available to the public. Instead of us hosting an F5 war, we will use a competition to decide who gets the first 5 (more on this later) . Boards are currently being tested as there have been some changes, namely the inclusion of ICS 4.0 android out of the box instead of Gingerbread :)  !

    great, so they have arrived.
when can i finally order one.
FAQ only says that one u move to a new model of ordering it will take 2-4 weeks.

Well WHEN will u guys implement a model to allow the purchase.
I do not want to read the FAQ again, i need a statement when it is possible to get one, so i can tart my planing, otherwise i will have to consider other options.

    regards..

Until now, there is no final shipment day, because it is unknown, when the manufacturer can send them out.
I don’t think, there are other affordable alternatives, except the pi.

I’m sure, they will be available soon, but you will have to wait, until they are fully tested.

Any news about Getting Jelly Bean 4.1 on this?

    • admin says:

Gosh didn’t know the source code was released! Well that means we can have a go at porting! Jelly bean 4.1 is likely to come too this board anyway as the manufacture seems to provide good support in the form of firmware upgrades…
